欧洲化学品产量停滞，价格下挫

据悉，欧洲化学工业委员会（Cefic）的最新化工趋势报告称，2015年前两个月欧盟化学品产量同比小幅增加0.1%，其中2月份欧盟化学品产量同比增加0.3%。
Cefic称，今年前两个月欧盟化学品价格同比下跌6.8%，其中2月份价格同比下跌7.3%。今年1-2月欧盟化学工业的销售收入同比下降5.5%。
Cefic总干事Hubert Mandery表示：“尽管欧洲经济逐步回升，但是欧洲化学公司正面临着需求疲软、价格下跌以及来自于美国和中东竞争对手竞争加剧的挑战。”
Cefic称，与2014年第四季度相比，今年一季度欧盟化工产能利用率仍然没有出现明显的改善，仅仅从81.1%小幅上升至81.2%。

Output of chemicals in the European Union edged up 0.1% in the first two months of 2015, compared with the corresponding period of last year, and EU chemicals output increased 0.3% year-on-year (YOY) in February, according to Cefic's latest chemicals trend report. Chemical prices plunged 6.8% YOY in the European Union during the first two months of the year and plummeted 7.3% YOY in February, Cefic says. Sales by the chemical industry in the European Union dropped 5.5% YOY in the first two months of the year, Cefic adds.
"Despite a gradual pickup in the European economy, companies are wrestling with flat demand, falling prices, and fierce competition from rivals who benefit from cheaper energy in the US and Arabian Gulf," says Cefic director general Hubert Mandery.
Chemical capacity utilization remained broadly unchanged in the European Union during the first quarter of 2015 compared with the fourth quarter of 2014, edging up to 81.2%, from 81.1%, Cefic says.
